Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide expert clinical care in a high acuity Women’s Services Unit. You will assess laboring patients, plan and intervene as needed, and collaborate with a strong team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will assist in deliveries, including C-sections, and educate patients and families on treatments while maintaining thorough records and medication administration in accordance with orders.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or compact license; FL RN license within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS/NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for laboring patients.
• Assist in delivery, including C-Sections.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatments.
• Maintain and review patient records, posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
