Qualifications include an ADN or higher and an active RN license, with 1+ years in Labor & Delivery or related fields. BLS/ACLS certification and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited nursing program.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years in Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, or related field preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health care team members.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard L&D medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers with obstetric teams.
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates with timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including epidurals and IV fluids.
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families throughout labor.
• Document and report patient status and outcomes per guidelines.
