Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Labor & Delivery team, supporting Orem Community Hospital and Intermountain Medical Center. You will provide patient-centered care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care, collaborating closely with physicians, midwives, and neonatal staff.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Utah or ability to obtain.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Two years of recent acute care RN experience preferred.
• BSN preferred for expanded responsibilities (optional).

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care during labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives and interdisciplinary team members.
• Apply evidence-based nursing practices to support safe labor progression and postpartum care.
• Assess maternal and fetal status with sound clinical judgment.
• Educate patients and families throughout labor, delivery and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Remain ready to respond to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
