Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role requires managing laboring patients through vaginal and cesarean deliveries, with emphasis on fetal monitoring and obstetrical emergencies.

The ideal candidate holds an active California RN License with 2 years in Labor and Delivery and current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications. 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift for a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Active California RN License.
• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• Expertise in fetal monitoring and rapid response to obstetrical emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal exams and manage the care of laboring patients.
• Circulate C-Sections and provide post-operative recovery care.
• Monitor fetal health and manage obstetrical emergencies.
• Care for high-risk antepartum patients, including gestational hypertension and diabetes.
• Assist with newborn care within the first hour of life, including breastfeeding support.
• Conduct outpatient testing including NST, CST, and BPP.
