Job summary

Corewell Health, Royal Oak Hospital, is seeking an RN for the Family Birth Center. The unit provides care from delivery to recovery for uncomplicated and high-risk pregnancies, including a natural birth center and NICU postpartum care.

The RN delivers patient-centered care under Corewell Health policies, partners with families, and educates patients. A strong emphasis is placed on documentation and continuity of care in the Women Infant Svcs Unit.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with acute care experience preferred.
• Licensure: MI RN with NCLEX.
• BLS required; NRP within 6 months; EFM certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate, discharge.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader; educate patients and family; document education in health record.
