Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting at our medical center.

Under general supervision, you will collaborate with the health care team, follow the nursing process, and meet licensure and training requirements including ADN and BSN options, BLS, ACLS, and NRP, while ensuring safe, compassionate care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• SC Nursing licensure or compact-state licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care using the nursing process.
• Meet licensure, certification and education requirements while supporting diverse patients and families.
