Job summary

St. Luke’s Health - The Woodlands Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. You will contribute to clinical decisions and discharge planning in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license in TX upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 6 months.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient condition on admission and during stay, delivering nursing care across physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
• Plans and documents the care plan, educates patients and families, and coordinates discharge planning with other disciplines.
• Implements treatments, reports changes to physicians, and follows safety protocols including medication safety.
• Reassesses patients after interventions and communicates with physicians to adjust care.
• Gives bedside shift reports, ensures continuity of care, and delegates tasks as needed.
• Maintains safe patient environment and reports hazards or safety concerns immediately.
