Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure required.
• 1+ year experience in Labor & Delivery or newborn nursery.
• NRP certification desired/required.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required.
• Fetal monitoring proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the maternity and newborn care setting.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patients' clinical condition including fetal monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with supervision.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care as necessary.
