Job summary

Ingenovis Health is partnering to place Labor and Delivery Nurses in travel roles across the United States. The L&D RN will monitor and support mothers and babies through labor, delivery and post-partum periods, applying specialized training to ensure patient safety at every stage.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of recent L&D experience and hold an active RN license. Additional certifications may be required by the specific facility or unit.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent experience in labor and delivery.
• Active RN license or appropriate accreditation in the US.
• Additional certifications may be requested by facility/unit.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mother and baby before, during and after birth.
• Assist during delivery and labor support.
• Provide care and support for women throughout labor and childbirth.

Job description

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you are responsible for providing care and support for women during labor and childbirth. You'll monitor mother and baby before, during, and after birth and assist throughout the process, including during delivery. L&D RNs use their special training and knowledge to help ensure the safety of patients both large and small.

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
