Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an adaptable nursing assistant to provide general patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, hydration, nutrition, and daily activities while maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.

The role requires completing assigned tasks, documenting patient information, following safety protocols, and communicating patient needs to the RN.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must obtain BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• No prior experience required.
• Demonstrates ability to work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, and nutrition.
• Provides routine treatments and maintains a clean, safe patient environment.
• Maintains patient safety and privacy.
• Follows standard precautions and hand hygiene.
• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Records vital signs and documents patient information as directed.
• Transports supplies and communicates patient needs to the RN.
• Participates in handoff reports and hourly rounding.
