Job summary

Incredible Health in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) to join our hospital partners. The role supports laboring mothers, collaborates with obstetricians, and ensures patient safety during delivery.

Night and mid shifts are available across full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules. The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with experience in L&D preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher from an accredited program.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or related field preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration with physicians, nurses and healthcare team.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and standard L&D equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers with obstetric teams.
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates with timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments including epidurals and IV fluids.
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families.
• Document and report patient status and outcomes per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including epidurals and intravenous fluids
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process
• Document and report patient status, changes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory guidelines
