Incredible Health is actively hiring in Rockford, IL for a Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) to work night shifts across full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

The role requires an ADN or higher, a current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Experience in Labor & Delivery or obstetrics is preferred. Proficiency with EHR systems and collaboration with obstetricians is essential.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or related field preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaborative skills
• Proficiency in EHR systems and standard L&D equipment

Responsabilités

• Assess and implement care for laboring mothers with obstetric teams
• Monitor vitals, contractions, and fetal heart rates with timely interventions
• Administer medications and treatments including epidurals and IV fluids
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families
• Document patient status and outcomes per guidelines

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Rockford, IL area for the following position: Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN). Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Antepartum, Birthing, Gynecology, or Pelvic exams.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or a related field preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard medical equipment pertinent to Labor & Delivery

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers, working closely with obstetricians and other healthcare providers
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, making timely interventions as necessary
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including epidurals and intravenous fluids
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process
• Document and report patient status, changes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory guidelines

Salary: $60,000 to $87,000 /year
