Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) in Lubbock, TX to join hospitals actively seeking qualified candidates for night shifts. Positions available include full-time, part-time, and per diem.

The role requires ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS/ACLS, 1+ year OB/Labor and Delivery experience, and strong teamwork. You will monitor mothers and babies, administer medications including epidurals, and document care in the EHR while supporting families.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited program.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1+ year Labor & Delivery or OB experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement care plans for laboring patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes.
• Administer medications including epidurals and IV fluids.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Document care in the EHR per policy.

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Lubbock, TX area for the following position: Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN). Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Antepartum, Birthing, Gynecology, or Pelvic exams.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or a related field preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard medical equipment pertinent to Labor & Delivery

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers, working closely with obstetricians and other healthcare providers
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, making timely interventions as necessary
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including epidurals and intravenous fluids
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process
• Document and report patient status, changes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory guidelines

Salary: $59,420 to $97,547 /year
