Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN in Littleton, CO to support laboring mothers and coordinate care with obstetricians and the wider clinical team. The role requires an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS; 1+ year L&D experience is preferred.

Strong communication and EHR skills are essential; readiness to work collaboratively with physicians and nurses. Shifts available: day, night and mid; job types: full-time, part-time, and per diem.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited program.
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ year of Labor and Delivery/OB experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and L&D equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement care plans for laboring patients with OB team.
• Monitor vital signs, contractions and fetal heart rate; intervene as needed.
• Administer medications including epidurals and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout labor and delivery.
• Document patient status and treatment outcomes per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard medical equipment pertinent to Labor & Delivery

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers, working closely with obstetricians and other healthcare providers
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, making timely interventions as necessary
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including epidurals and intravenous fluids
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process
• Document and report patient status, changes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory guidelines
