Job summary

Jobtome is seeking a registered nurse with previous labor and delivery, maternal–child health, or obstetrics experience to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within a collaborative health care team.

The incumbent will educate patients and families, maintain safety standards, and participate in performance improvement activities while adhering to professional ethics and NJ licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers.
• Experience in L&D/ MCH/ OB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care.
• Administer, monitor and document therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care needs.
• Participate in clinical decision-making and care team coordination.
• Maintain patient safety and standard precautions.
• Engage in orientation and development of healthcare team.
• Identify and participate in performance improvement activities.
