Job summary

NurseDeck Inc. seeks a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional care through childbirth. The role focuses on monitoring progress, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with clinicians to achieve optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in labor and delivery, RN license, BLS/ACLS/AWHONN/NRP, and EPIC EMR experience, with a strong commitment to patient safety and documentation.

Qualifications

ASN or BSN degree required.
Active RN license in good standing.
BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications required.
Minimum 2 years RN experience in labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and monitor patient progress during labor and delivery.
Identify and respond to changes in patient condition.
Provide regular updates to doctors, patients, and families.
Administer treatment and monitor medication dosages.
Respond to medical emergencies and alert providers.
Care for patients in ICU recovery when necessary.
Complete documentation before transfers.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
