Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care to patients across the lifecycle, following nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will work within organizational policies, ensuring quality and accountability, and coordinating care across assigned staff.

Qualifications include RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS, and nursing education with preference for Bachelor’s degree and hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• Current GA RN license or multistate license (Georgia licensure).
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality care.
• Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.

Education

Graduate from recognized nursing school (Required)

Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

No experience required (New graduates eligible)

Nursing experience in hospital setting (Preferred)

1 year hospital setting for PRN positions (Preferred)
