Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for its Anschutz Pavilion and related facilities. The role supports patients across Highlands Ranch, Longs Peak, and UCHealth sites, with day/night rotation and full-time hours.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure, with 6 months Women and Infants experience or UCHealth Fellowship, and BLS/CPR credentials. Night shifts offer extra incentives and a strong team-driven environment.

  • NRP within 6 months of hire and BLS/CPR before start date.

Responsibilities

  • Provide top of scope direct patient care using the nursing process.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes in labor and delivery.
  • Precepting and guiding new staff in clinical orientation.
  • Contribute to safety, quality, and evidence-based practice at the point of care.

DescriptionLocation: UCHealth Anschutz Pavilion - Aurora Department: Labor & Delivery Metro Float PoolMetro Denver Women and Infants (W&I) Float Pool RNs will support patients and teams at Highlands Ranch Hospital, Longs Peak Hospital, and University of Colorado Hospital Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)Shift: Day / Night Rotation or NightsPay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour + Float Pool Differential. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experienceWork nights, earn more - our Night Shift Incentive Program pays $1,600 quarterly ($6,400/year) to full-time night shift RNs.This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote optionMinimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Relevant certification as determined at position level.6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.NRP within 6 months of hire.BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
