Qualifications

  • Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  • A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
  • ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  • NRP (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a perinatal nurse in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assume 24-hour administrative responsibility for the management of the birthplace.
  • Supervise and evaluate all personnel assigned to the unit.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and administration.
  • Consult on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies.

Overview

We are seeking a Woman's Center Supervisor RN someone who is essential in maintaining a safe, efficient, and effective environment, ensuring that both patients and nursing teams are supported throughout the process.

Bonus Options: up to $20,000

Shift’s Available: Varied / Evenings

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • The Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who assumes 24-hour administrative responsibility for the management of the birthplace.
  • Supervises, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care.
  • Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current regulations.
  • Supervises and evaluates all personnel assigned to the unit and effectively utilizes nursing personnel, time responsibilities for the unit and is directly accountable.
  • Communicates effectively with staff, physicians and administration both written and verbally.
  • Consults with staff, physicians and department director on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
Qualifications
