Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking new graduate RN candidates to join the Labor & Birth team in a residency program. The 16-week program supports transition from student nurse to professional RN with immersive learning, mentorship, and hands-on clinical experiences.

New graduates will gain skills in fetal monitoring, patient assessment, and collaborative obstetric care within a large birthing center, with opportunities for growth, certifications, and career development in women's health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license or eligibility for licensure in Missouri.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
• Develop and manage individualized patient care plans.
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams.
• Conduct bedside handoffs and patient safety reporting.
• Educate patients and families throughout their care journey.
• Utilize diagnostic, laboratory, and fetal monitoring data.
