Job summary

Metric Bio in Colorado is seeking a Packaging, Visual Inspection & Labelling Manager to lead the labeling, packaging and inspection functions within a fast-growing pharmaceutical operation. You will report to the Director of Operations and guide a world-class team, partnering with QA, Technical, Facilities and Engineering to maintain top quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Life Sciences background, strong leadership, Six Sigma/Lean experience, and proven operational improvement skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Engineering.
• 5-7 years leadership experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP guidelines/standards.
• Six Sigma and Lean training (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
• Hands-on experience in making operational improvements.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent MS Office skills, including spreadsheets and word processing.

Metric Bio have been retained by an extremely exciting, Industry leading, FDA Registered, 503B Outsourcing company based in Colorado.

Our client a currently entering a hyper-growth phase of business, expanding rapidly and looking to build out the team. With a focus on Pre-Filled Syringes, IV Bags & Ophthalmic Solutions, we are looking to hire a Packaging, Visual Inspection & Labelling Manager to uphold & reinforce their market leading Quality status.

You will report to the Director of Operations and take control of a world class team overseeing all aspects of Labelling, Packaging & Inspection. If you are a strong leader with a focus on maintaining and creating a positive work environment, the ability to interact cross collaboratively with supporting departments (QA, Technical, Facilities & Engineering) and an in depth knowledge of cGMP Guidelines.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Engineering.
• 5-7 years leadership experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP guidelines/standards.
• Advanced problem solving such as Six Sigma and Lean training, Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Hands-on experience in making operational improvements.
