Job summary

MGP Ingredients in St. Louis, MO, is hiring a Label Technician to support inventory control, scrap handling, and labeling operations on site.

Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, you will manage label inventory, receive and stock labels, and ensure availability for production lines. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing or stockroom experience preferred, and strong organizational skills with basic Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Stockroom experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Intermediate Excel/Office skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management: coordinate and manage label inventory.
• Quality: coordinate with the Quality Manager on defective materials and SOP/GMP compliance.
• Administrative: print and organize weekly production paperwork and scrap reports.
• Print labels and coordinate shipment to offsite warehouses and production location.
• Work with production management to meet weekly/daily/hourly requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
