Job summary

Brook + Whittle is hiring a Rewind Operator in Kansas to convert large rolls of labels into specified quantities for shipping, splicing and remnant roll recovery. The role entails slitting labels to size, completing workload score sheets, and keeping the workspace clean and compliant with safety standards.

The position is full-time, on-site, with a Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm schedule. A high school diploma or equivalent plus basic reading and safety knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Knowledge of mechanics and hazard communication standards/MDS sheets.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Typically 0–3 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Convert large rolls of labels into specified quantities for shipping.
• Slit labels to correct sizes when needed.
• Complete score sheets calculating work performed.
• Clean the work area and maintain safety practices.
• Lift 50 lb rolls and move materials as required.
• Bag and organize rolls on carts for Shipping.
