Job summary

PRO LABEL MN LLC in the North Metro (Coon Rapids, MN) is hiring a Flexographic and Digital Label Press Operator to join a growing label manufacturer with 10 presses. You will set up and operate printing presses to produce high-quality labels per job specs.

You will monitor performance, read job tickets, perform routine maintenance, verify dimensions with calipers, and conduct quality checks. This role supports material handling and warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a press operator or in a related manufacturing role.
• Working knowledge of inks, materials, dies, and general printing processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with press and machining equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, specs, and proofs.
• Skilled with measuring tools and basic math (including calculators).
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Digital press experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate printing presses to produce high-quality labels per job specifications.
• Monitor press performance to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and consistent quality.
• Read and interpret job tickets and proofs to determine setup and production requirements.
• Perform routine press maintenance to ensure reliable machine performance.
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, rulers, etc.) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Complete quality checks throughout the run to ensure labels meet specifications.
• Support material handling and warehouse tasks as needed.
