Job summary

Kroger is seeking a team member for Salt Lake City to fill orders safely and accurately. You will mount plates, operate a 4/7 color flexo press, wash equipment, and manage paperwork.

The role requires basic math, reading, and the ability to switch tasks quickly while meeting production standards. Qualifications include a GED/HS plus 1 year experience, ability to work weekends and overtime, and familiarity with distribution center terms.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend instructions, write simple notes, present information clearly.
• Perform basic math including fractions and decimals for counts and measurements.
• Follow instructions and work with a few concrete variables in standard situations.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to move with urgency.
• Must be available to work weekends and overtime regularly.

Responsibilities

• Load pallets on trailers; perform all warehouse functions as needed.

Responsible for filling orders in an accurate, productive and safe manner. Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• Plate mounting and press set up.
• Operating a 4 color & 7 color flexo press.

• Responsible for filling out paperwork correctly.
• Select orders.
• Read order to ascertain item number and quantity of merchandise.
• Obtain correct merchandise from bins/shelves/pick slots.
• Build pallets, wrap pallets.
• Load pallet on the trailer.
• All warehouse functions, including lift operation, inventory, receiving, stocking.
• Able to be flexible with the ability to switch from task to task on a daily basis.
• Janitorial functions, keeping your work area clean and neat.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

Desired Previous Job Experience

• High school education or general education degree (GED) plus one year experience in work or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
