Purity Dairies in Nashville is seeking a Bagger/Debagger to operate, maintain, break down, and set up equipment while addressing basic to moderate issues. The role requires GMP adherence and teamwork across departments to meet daily deadlines.

The position runs 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00pm–6:30am) with Saturdays as needed, offering competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and growth opportunities within a farmer-owned DFA affiliate. Scholarships are available for you and your family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds; work in a fast-paced environment.
• May have exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals; able to work flexible hours including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, break down and set up equipment and machinery; troubleshoot basic to moderate operating issues.
• Process finished or raw materials following GMP; communicate with departments to meet deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to GMP and quality standards in daily operations.

Purity Dairies has immediate job openings for a Bagger/Debagger to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Filler operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
