Job summary

Capstone Nutrition is seeking an on-site Warehouse Label Associate to support production by supplying labels and maintaining accurate receiving documentation. You will ensure DSHEA compliance, update work orders, and maintain an organized label control area with regular cycle counts.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and reliable communication. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and understand plant operations within the production environment.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming label quantities and print out receiving paperwork.
• Provide production with labels as needed.
• Understand and comply with DSHEA act.
• Update all work order paperwork with label quantities given to and from production.
• Keep label control area in an organized and clean manner.
• Keep track of label inventory by doing periodic cycle counts.
• Accurate and timely recording of materials received, product produced, scrap, and excess
• Proper use and care of equipment and materials issued to work area

Job description

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.
• Must have working knowledge of computers.
• Must have detail and organizational skills.
• Must have problem solving skills.
• Must be able to communicate well, both written and oral, with others within the organization.
• Must have ability to do simple mathematic equations. Needs to be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure and understand
• Must be able to understand relations between units of measure.
• Ability to understand all plants operations and where they fit into department operations.
• Must be able to move 50 lbs. from floor to 48 inches height.

WORK CONDITIONS

Subject to normal warehouse environment, but must also be in the production areas may include the following conditions:

• Subject to high noise levels where hearing protection may be required.
• Subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, powders, dust and other particles.
• Subject to forklift traffic conditions.
• Subject to Safety PPE included, but not limited to safety vest and hard hat.
