Job summary

Labcorp in Dublin, OH is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team. The role involves preparing laboratory specimens for analysis, researching and resolving specimen issues, and handling test requests to ensure timely release of results.

This position offers a 4:00am–12:30pm schedule, Tuesday through Saturday with rotating weekends. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, with preferred 3+ months of specimen processing or laboratory experience.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Dublin, OH. Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 4:00am - 12:30pm (rotating weekends).

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results
• Assist clients with any specimen related requests or inquiries
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience

• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Pay Range:$17.75 - $20.00 Plus shift differential All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
