Job summary

NAMSA is seeking a detail-oriented laboratory technician to prepare test articles and animals, review data for accuracy, and execute routine testing per SOPs. You will maintain reagents, records, and equipment, and perform daily health observations in a compliant setting.

Responsibilities include data interpretation, potential necropsies, and training assistance. Candidates should have a scientific background and be able to support regulatory interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is required.
• Equivalent experience may substitute per NAMSA guidelines.
• SOP-compliant laboratory work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all testing articles and animals per written procedures.
• Review pour/decant data for accuracy and completeness.
• Execute routine testing per NAMSA SOPs with data analysis.
• Maintain reagents, test articles, supplies, and log books.
• Conduct daily health observations and animal welfare tasks.
• May assist in training new associates and necropsies.
• Interact with client/regulatory auditors as needed.
