Job summary

Grace is seeking a Technician Specialist to join the Catalyst Evaluations Research and Services team in Columbia, MD. The technician will perform lab testing on FCC-related processes, rotate between lab areas, and support product development and customer technical needs.

Role requires handling hazardous materials, operating specialized equipment, logging samples, and maintaining records with strong emphasis on safety. On-site work in Columbia, MD with 1st/2nd shifts available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years relevant experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or skilled trade.
• Associate's degree with 2+ years in a technical field.
• Ability to work rotating shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain FCC testing equipment (DCR, ACE, etc.).
• Conduct analytical testing on petroleum feeds and related samples.
• Log in customer and internal samples.
• Conduct specialized catalyst/ feedstock testing and product testing.
• Keep complete and accurate records of work performed.
• Maintain a safe, orderly workplace and update safety documentation.
