Job summary

Intertek USA is seeking a Sample Processing Clerk / Lab Technician for our National IH Laboratory in Pittsburgh, PA. This role supports daily lab operations, logging samples into LIMS, maintaining records, and assisting with reporting and data management.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, strong computer skills, experience with LIMS and MS Office, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with data entry and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Sample and quality control preparation for analysis.
• Receive and log environmental samples into LIMS.
• Maintain electronic records for traceability and quality.
• Prepare, review, and issue reports.
• Enter and verify data in databases and Office apps.
• Greet clients and assist with sample submissions.
• Respond to inquiries by phone or email.
• Assist with inventory management and lab organization.
• Support improvements to procedures and work instructions.
