Nucor Corporation, located in Plymouth, Utah, is seeking a Physical Lab Technician to support customers by procuring samples, performing dimensional and mechanical tests, and ensuring data accuracy for material certification.

The role requires working in an industrial environment with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to procedures. Candidates must be willing to work weekends/holidays and overtime as needed to meet production schedules.

• Experience in an industrial setting with emphasis on safety procedures.

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Physical Lab Technician is to take care of our customers. Tasks include, but are not limited to the procurement of samples, dimensional and mechanical testing, operation, and maintenance of equipment, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data for the certification of material.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts as well as scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
• Experience working in an industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of steel industry, steel grades, and quality systems.
• Prior Physical Lab testing experience
