Cardinal Health is seeking a Lab Technician for the night shift in Sharon Hill, PA. The role involves manufacturing radiopharmaceutical isotopes, quality control testing, and operating in ISO cleanrooms to prepare product and customer vials.

Training provided, with a rotating schedule and weekend rotations as needed. You will work on synthesis setup, radioisotope handling, and environmental monitoring while maintaining precise documentation and SAP inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; science background preferred.
• 0-1 years of lab experience encouraged; overnight shift availability required.
• Must be able to read and follow detailed procedures and write documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete training and demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing radioactive isotopes.
• Manufacture isotopes including synthesis setup and hot cell manipulations.
• Conduct quality control testing using GC, dose calibrator, and HPLC instruments.
• Work in ISO 7 cleanroom to prepare product and customer vials for drug production.
• Perform environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5/7/8 environments.
• Coordinate daily production run schedules based on customer and pharmacy needs.
• Maintain daily production records and ensure accurate documentation in SAP inventory.
• Perform daily radiation safety tasks and general lab cleaning.

Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring.***$1,000 New Hire Sign On Bonus!*****Schedule**:* 40 Hours per week* Sunday night/Monday morning - Friday.* Must be willing to **start** working any 8hr shift between 9pm - 4:30am. **The schedule will be based off of business needs and is rotating.*** Must be willing to work weekend rotations (1 to 2 weekends per month)* Candidate must be flexible to work different shifts, schedules, holidays, days and overtime as needed.***Responsibilities**** Successfully complete extensive training, including e-learning assignments and hands on components, to demonstrate and maintain proficiency* Manufactures radioactive isotopes (includes synthesis set up, hot cell manipulations, distribution)* Conducts quality control testing of each batch (utilizing gas chromatograph, dose calibrator, multi-channel analyzer, TLC plate scanner, high pressure liquid chromatograph, analytical balance, PTS, laminar flow hood and fume hood)* Works in ISO 7 cleanroom to make product vials and customer vials for use in drug production* Performs environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5, ISO 7, and ISO 8 environments* Coordinates daily production run schedule based on customer and pharmacy needs* Demonstrates strong documentation practices, oral communication, and writing skills. Performs clerical and administrative tasks, including maintenance of daily production records, report preparation and maintenance records* Manages SAP Inventory (includes receiving materials, properly inspecting materials for use, and maintaining proper cycle counts)* Performs daily radiation safety tasks, along with general lab cleaning***Qualifications**** High school diploma, GED or equivalent or equivalent work experience, preferred.
