Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis Co. is seeking a Lab Technician III in St. Gabriel, LA to perform laboratory and field tests, analyze data, and maintain calibration of lab equipment.

You will document results and support production with research, batch adjustments, and troubleshooting in a fully onsite environment. The role requires 2+ years in technical services or QA, proficiency with Windows, and hands-on lab testing experience including spectrometers and pH meters.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a technical services or quality assurance role.
• Hands-on experience preparing laboratory samples, performing laboratory and field testing, and operating equipment such as spectrometers, nitrogen determination apparatus, air samplers, centrifuges, and pH meters.
• Knowledge of liquid fertilizers and laboratory testing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory and field tests and analyze test data to support quality control.
• Document results and post production information into systems and monitor results against standards.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and support plant staff with research, batch adjustments, and troubleshooting.
