Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for an onsite role in Tempe, AZ. You will support the preparation of blood components, handle labeling, and maintain meticulous data records while ensuring product quality and compliance with time requirements.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and the ability to work shift schedules including weekends. No prior experience is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.

• Basic keyboarding skills and ability to operate lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
• Prepare blood components via centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, and storage.
• Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
• Label components and implement quarantine procedures.
