Job summary

Responsibilities include collecting blood specimens, verifying specimen integrity, and supporting analytical workflows. Candidates should have a high school diploma; biology/chemistry training is a plus, and travel to off-site locations

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Associates, Biology or Chemistry preferred.
• Laboratory experience preferred but not required.
• Keyboarding or data experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community in a respectful manner.
• Collect blood specimens following venipuncture procedures.
• Assist technologists with loading instruments, preparing reagents, thawing and pooling blood products.
• Identify and report instrument or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Perform clerical duties such as inventory checks and stocking supplies.
• Troubleshoot problems promptly and communicate outcomes.
• Other duties as assigned.
