Job summary

PPG in Dallas, TX is seeking a Lab Technician to contribute to the development and testing of aerospace sealants and adhesives. The successful candidate will formulate, test, and document results, while adhering to SOPs and safety standards in a collaborative lab environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on wet chemistry experience.
• Experience with polymer, coatings, sealants, and adhesives.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Familiarity with SOP development and process improvement.
• Team-oriented and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex laboratory support for product development and research activities.
• Develop understanding of product specifications and testing requirements.
• Prepare and test formulations in accordance with SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate lab records and notebooks with reproducible data.
• Document and present test results to team members and partners.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supported departments to ensure project success.
• Identify and troubleshoot routine laboratory and product-related issues.
• Respond to technical inquiries via email, phone, and internal systems.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve concerns and support continuous improvement.
• Assist with laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
