Lab Technician

• Repetitive movements with hands; attention to detail; safety conscious.
• Mechanical aptitude plus good report writing skills and Microsoft Suite experience.
• Proficiency in project management, critical thinking, problem solving and handling adhesives and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing adhesives.
• Bonding parts.
• Testing bond strength and physical properties – evaluate, collect, and record data.
• Organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook.
• Computer data entry including charts and tables for communication of project results.
• Operating laboratory equipment and measuring devices.
• Following safety protocols and best practices while working with chemicals and lab equipment.
• Following quality protocols according to SOPs and ISO 17025:2017.
• Standing while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
• Lifting at least fifty pounds.
