NOV Fluid Technology, located in Conroe, TX, seeks a Fluid Lab Technician to assist in field support and the R&D lab. You will perform lab testing, report results, and handle fluid projects daily, contributing to safety and quality standards.

You will support the fluid technology team, calibrate and maintain equipment, and ensure API lab requirements and environmental compliance are met.

Qualifikationen

• Experience or education in drilling fluids analyses.
• Background in rig operations; field experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of API RP 13 B-1, 13 B-2, 13C and 13I is beneficial.

• Discussing and support internal operations on any questions related to project.
• Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample.
• Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment.
• Assist R&D Engineering group and Fluid Technology Manager in areas of product and system development.
• Maintain and comply with latest API lab requirements.
• Maintain environmental compliances as it relates to chemicals and disposal.
• Provide lab and technical assistance to NOV groups engaged in product system, equipment development.
• Interface with customers regarding laboratory functions, capabilities, and test results.
