Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician to perform laboratory and research tasks, analyzing and testing products to ensure quality and composition.

You will work with lab equipment, prepare specimens, and generate Certificates of Analysis and toxicology reports while maintaining accurate records. The role requires experience with lab procedures and protocols, familiarity with cGMP where applicable, and ability to coordinate with scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with laboratory procedures and quality control practices.
• Understanding of standard laboratory protocols and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements as applicable to the facility (FDARP).
• Experience using UVX, SharePoint, and EDX-Scheduling systems if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment for testing and analysis.
• Prepare specimens, slides and solutions for analysis.
• Perform calculations and run routine tests.
• Prepare and translate Certificates of Analysis and toxicological reports.
• Maintain accurate lab records and stock supplies.
• Clean and calibrate equipment and manage inventory.

Skills

Experienced in laboratory procedures

Position Title:

Lab Technician

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Performs a variety of laboratory and research related tasks. Analyzes and tests manufactured and recycled Company products to ensure product quality and composition.

• Uses laboratory equipment to analyze, measure and test chemicals to ensure quality control of products.
• Prepares specimens, slides and solutions.
• Performs calculations and routine tests.
• Prepares and translates Certificates of Analysis and Toxicological reports.
• Maintains accurate records.
• Stocks laboratory supplies.
• Cleans and maintains laboratory equipment.
• Cross trains in other job duties within the Tank Farm.
• Adheres to company quality processes, as applicable.
• Assists to resolve product quality issues in an efficient and timely manner, as applicable

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Experienced in laboratory procedures
• Knowledge of laboratory protocols
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements as it pertains to FDARP as applicable to the facility
• Experience in UVX - SharePoint- EDX-Scheduling
