HarborCHC in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Lab Technician/Phlebotomist to perform blood draws, specimen collection, and ensure patient safety while adhering to clinical standards.
You will verify patient identity, label specimens, process samples, maintain EMR documentation, and assist care teams. California CPT I/II license and current BLS are required; 1 year medical setting experience preferred.

The Lab Technician/Phlebotomist is responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection with accuracy and efficiency, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.

*May be required to travel between clinic sites; must have reliable transportation if applicable
* Subject to a criminal background check prior to employment;
* Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License if travel between clinic sites is required.
* Must have and maintain state required automobile insurance coverage; and
* Must successfully complete pre-employment physical and TB screening requirements and maintain any required clearances in accordance with HarborCHC policy.
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust.
HarborCHC is open Monday-Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm, Friday 8:00 am-5:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm.
