Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a laboratory professional to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on sample intake, data entry into the eLIMS system, and performing laboratory testing to meet turnaround targets.

Responsibilities include documenting results, addressing non-conformances, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and collaborating with colleagues to support regulatory requirements and quality management systems.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 1+ years’ laboratory experience required.
• BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field preferred.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Registration of incoming samples and maintaining a neat, accurate record system for quality control purposes.
• Enter the sample data into Eurofins eLIMS system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in an accurate, efficient and timely manner; ensure turnaround time goals are met.
• Verify results and submit results to the appropriate personnel for transmission in a timely manner.
• Identify process difficulties and report these with proposed solutions to supervisor.
• Maintain a ready, safe, and cooperative work environment and communicate with colleagues.
• Promote the company image through sound and ethical business practices.
• Continually strive to improve the quality of work through existing and new technologies.
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

• Registration of incoming samples (as needed), maintaining a neat and accurate record system of work performed on a daily basis and as needed for quality control tests or regulatory purposes.
• Enter the sample data into Eurofins eLIMS system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in an accurate, efficient and timely manner; ensure sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded.
• Verify results and submit results to the appropriate personnel for transmission, in a timely manner.
• Identify process difficulties and report these together with proposed solutions to supervisor.
• Maintain a perpetual state of readiness and willingness to respond to the queries and needs of clients, staff, and co-workers.
