Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in biology or microbiology and 3+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of GMP, CAPAs and Quality Assurance
• Laboratory equipment and tools (e.g., dry bath, pH meters, incubators, air tester)
• Media preparation, solutions, and dilutions
• Microbiological tests such as BET, Endotoxin testing, Environmental Monitoring
• Support laboratory investigations
• Write procedures and conduct validations
• Fully bilingual

Responsibilities

• Provide routine laboratory tests in metallurgical/chemical/microbiological areas, in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
• Interpret test results and examine for unusual characteristics.
• Troubleshoot procedures that may have been compromised, thus determining the potential cause of unexpected results.
• Sends samples and provides the required follow-up for outside testing: environmental, mechanical, process monitoring, etc.
• Purchase of laboratory supplies.
• Analyzes, reviews, and documents the status of lab records for archiving.
• Administers the flow of test requests, from logging in through filing and archiving.
• Conducts equipment PM, qualifications and calibrations as needed.
