Job summary

Viltis is seeking a Lab Tech Aide to join our client’s laboratory team in California. This full-time, nonexempt role involves conducting chemical and physical tests, assisting qualitative analysis, and preparing equipment for research or process control.

You will clean glassware, maintain items, and ensure safety and quality while complying with regulatory requirements; overtime paid at time and a half; possible contract extension or conversion.

Qualifications

• High school science courses are required.
• College level science courses are preferred.

Position Overview

Join our client’s laboratory team as a Lab Tech Aide, supporting essential operations in a dynamic scientific environment. In this role, you will conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests, assist with qualitative analysis of various materials, and help set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation for research or process control.

Your responsibilities will also include cleaning and maintaining laboratory glassware, utensils, and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient laboratory operations. You will play a key part in making sure all laboratory items are thoroughly cleaned, properly stored, and available for use, while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
