Job summary

Insync Staffing Inc. is seeking a motivated Lab Aide 1 to support a variety of lab needs. Primary duties include washing and sterilizing lab ware, maintaining supplies, and organizing storage areas in a busy lab environment in San Diego.

Role requires SDS knowledge, multitasking ability, strong problem-solving skills, and effective teamwork. The position is onsite, 8am–5pm, for a 2-year assignment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SDS for relevant chemicals.
• Ability to multitask; work in collaborative teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort with instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sterilize lab ware.
• Picking up glass and plastic ware from manufacturing, QC and R&D labs.
• Maintain and organize dishwashing, autoclave and storage rooms.
• Daily, weekly, monthly and as-needed data logging on data sheets.
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness in responsible areas.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external personnel.
• Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
