Phigenics, LLC in Warrenville, IL seeks a Laboratory Support Technician to assist daily operations, including sample receipt, LIMS entry, reagent prep, QA/QC recordkeeping, and supply management. The role reports to the Microbiology Group Lead and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years in a lab, or a 2-year biology degree, with strong time management, communication, and detail orientation.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years' experience in a relevant laboratory setting or 2-year biology degree or equivalent experience in Microbiology and/or Chemistry, preferred.
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong verbal & written skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work overtime occasionally, sometimes with little or no notice.
• Knowledgeable in the use of computers – MS Office, LIMS.

Responsabilidades

• Receives samples and supports day-to-day lab operations.
• Enters data in LIMS (Date Received, Received By, Collector, Collect Date).
• Prepares reagents and materials for testing.
• Maintains QA/QC forms and records and supports QA/QC procedures.
• Manages supplies for lab and warehouse and supports safety initiatives.
• Performs general lab upkeep, including cleaning equipment and glassware.
