Responsibilities

• Maintain lab inventory, prepare media, and manage supplies.
• Safely handle compressed gases and cryogenic liquids.
• Clean and monitor temperature units, fume hoods, and biosafety cabinets.
• Track equipment maintenance and calibration using electronic systems.
• Coordinate workflows across departments using digital tools.
• Manage lab notebooks, logbooks, and documentation reconciliation.
• Support recurring equipment maintenance and calibration schedules.
• Organize and label lab spaces according to SOPs.
• Complete safety and procedural trainings.
• Participate in weekend and overtime schedules as needed.

Base pay range

$19.50/hr - $21.50/hr

Additional Information

The position is full‑time, Tuesday through Saturday, with the hours of 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, New York are encouraged to apply.
