Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Lab Support Tech to join the Lab Support Services team. Under supervision, you will procure specimens, process samples, and perform specialized procedures to support efficient department operations.

The role includes training and mentoring less experienced staff, maintaining quality customer service, and communicating effectively with users of Laboratory Services. Schedule is full time, 1pm to 9:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• One year of Phlebotomy, EKG, and/or specimen processing experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification (ASCP) preferred.

• Provide quality customer oriented laboratory services including specimen procurement and processing.
• Perform specialized procedures and communicate information to users of Laboratory Services.

Compensation Range

$20.12- $26.02
