Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join the Molecular team in Raritan, NJ. The role involves supervising daily lab operations, training staff, and ensuring timely, accurate test results in a high-volume setting.
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/biological science or Medical Technology and 4+ years of clinical lab testing experience, with ASCP or AMT certification preferred. Strong leadership and compliance skills are essential.

Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our Molecular team in Raritan, NJ, Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Supervise the day to day operations of the Department/Lab Name department Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel of the department Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate assay coverage Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffed Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary Engage in continuous process and service level improvements Ensure all equipment is being properly maintained through Quality Control Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance records and documents Evaluate new process improvements and make appropriate recommendations Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their development Perform bench work as needed and maintain proficiency/competency in technical operations Ensure all work is in accordance with state and Federal regulations Responsible for administering and managing policies and procedures Process and maintain payroll and personnel files Perform administrative duties as needed
Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology 4 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
6 months or more of supervising or leading a team Previous clinical testing experience in Molecular ASCP or AMT certification
In lieu of education requirements listed above, non-traditional degrees with applicable science credits that meet CLIA standards may meet education requirements Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures Experience working in a high volume laboratory environment Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP and relevant state regulations Ability to work independently and within a team environment Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills Comfortability making decisions in a changing environment Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
**Pay Range: $90,000-$115,00 Annually All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
