Job summary

Techmer PM is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the QC team at our Rancho Dominguez, CA on-site facility. The role focuses on ensuring products meet customer expectations while maintaining compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, guidance for Quality Technicians, and collaboration with Manufacturing and Technical Services to resolve quality and color issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five years of Quality Control experience or two years of Quality Supervision experience.
• Preferred: manufacturing, plastics, polymer, or color concentrate experience.
• Previous laboratory leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of QC.
• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Technicians.
• Ensure accurate, timely product testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Technical Services to resolve quality and color issues.
• Review documentation required for product approval and release.
• Promote safety and conduct routine safety observations.
• Review production schedules and coordinate laboratory support.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Assist with nonconformance investigations, special projects, and department budgeting.
• Support cross-functional teamwork and other duties as assigned.

Quality Control Supervisor

Position Summary

Techmer PM is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Control Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our QC. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations while maintaining compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 9001. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who excels in quality management, employee development, process

improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of QC
• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Technicians.
• Ensure accurate, timely product testing and documentation.

Qualifications

Required:

• Five (5) years of Quality Control experience OR two (2) years of Quality Supervision experience

• Manufacturing, plastics, polymer, or color concentrate experience
• Previous laboratory leadership experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Salary Range

• $75,000 - $90,000
